General Dining Assistant

Role Introduction

We are looking for a General Dining Assistant to ensure excellent front of house service and deliver a professional service across all areas of our central dining facility at Bekynton.

 

Main Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of service and dining areas
  • Providing a food service
  • Washing up
  • Cleaning equipment, utensils and working areas
  • Maintaining correct levels of Health and Safety
  • To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required of you in the post

Working Hours:  Monday to Friday – 7.00 to 14.30 and 19.00 to 21.00 (42.5 hours per week) 

Shift Pattern: Split shifts/ 34 weeks term time, 6 weeks summer schools

Holiday Entitlement: 6 weeks paid holiday entitlement 

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, the incumbent should have:

  • Relevant dining experience
  • Cleaning experience
  • The ability to communicate and work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible approach
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to carry out tasks under pressure
